From the week commencing 6 July, the way you communicate with applicants and parents changes for the better. The new Communications Area brings your inbox, templates, campaigns and automations into one connected space inside Admissions+, with GDPR controls built in from the ground up.
If your communications currently live across a school inbox, a few spreadsheets and a handful of disconnected tools, this is the upgrade you have been waiting for. Everything now sits in one place, linked to the applicants it relates to, so you can see not just what you sent, but what it actually achieved.
What's new
- Inbox. Connect your school email accounts directly into Admissions+. Inbound messages link automatically to the right applicant, so the full conversation lives on their record. Assign messages to staff, track each one through Open, Pending and Done, and turn unknown senders into enquiries in a click.
- Templates. Four types - Basic, Enhanced, SMS and Notifications - with a clear three-step Setup, Advanced Settings and Content workflow. A new Marketing versus Transactional purpose field keeps you GDPR-compliant, while open and click tracking and a drag-and-drop editor with mobile and desktop previews make every message look the part.
- Campaigns. Group related messages, sequences, events and meetings into a single measurable journey, and track real conversion through offers, acceptances and enrolments. Finally, a clear answer to "is our communication actually working?"
- Automations. One dashboard for every automated message - Custom, System and Scheduled - with a visual journey that shows each trigger and the action it sets off. No more guessing what is firing and when.
- Settings and compliance. Configurable marketing categories with per-category consent, unsubscribe management, SMS quiet hours, role-based permissions and full audit trails. Compliance stops being a worry and becomes the default.
