New to Applicaa? Get up and running in three sessions

Whether your school has just joined Applicaa, or you are a new colleague at a school that has been with us for years, the quickest way to feel at home is a live onboarding session.

There are three one-hour sessions, run every week and designed to work whichever intake you admit for. Each one is hosted by Tess, with Faith answering your questions as you go. 

Session 1: Platform familiarisation

Mondays at 2pm or Wednesdays at 11am. Get confident in Admissions+. You will cover:

• Logging in and password reset
• The dashboard and navigation
• Adding staff and setting permissions
• Application statuses and the student profile
• Search, filters and exports
• Where to get help: Emma, the Support phone line and Group Training

Register: Monday at 2pm or Wednesday at 11am

Session 2: Enquiries and events

Tuesdays at 2pm or Thursdays at 11am. Set up the way families first meet you. You will cover:

• Enquiry and registration forms
• Following up leads
• Open evenings
• Event emails
• Bookings and attendance
• Events analysis

Register: Tuesday at 2pm or Thursday at 11am

Session 3: Application customisation

Wednesdays at 2pm or Fridays at 11am. Get your application form ready to go live. You will cover:

• Customising the form and its phases
• The courses step (Year 12)
• Reference types
• Calculated properties for admissions criteria
• The vital email templates to check
• A go-live checklist
• What comes next: meetings, offers, timetabling, taster days, the transition tool, CTF collection, the sorting hat and enrolment

Who the sessions are for

• Schools that are new to Applicaa
• New colleagues joining a school that already uses Applicaa
• Any intake, from your first enquiries through to enrolment

Good to know

Sessions run weekly, with a pause for the October half-term week (the week of 26 October). Registering takes a minute and you will get a confirmation from Zoom.

Help in between sessions

You are never on your own. Ask Emma in the panel at the bottom right of your system, call the Support phone line, or drop in to a Group Training session.
